How to install The Promise Kodi Addon

Install The WareHouse Repository

  1. You may need to enable unknown sources in your Kodi settings
  2. Go into your Kodi settings and open the file manager
  3. Select “Add source” and click on “None”
  4. Type in the path “https://warehousecrates.github.io/TheWareHouse/” and select “Done”
  5. Highlight the box underneath and type in a name like “TheWareHouse” for this media source
  6. Click “OK”
  7. Go back to your main menu and select “Addons” on the left side
  8. Open the addon browser by clicking on the little box symbol at the top left
  9. Select “Install from ZIP file”
  10. Answer the warning message with “Yes”
  11. Open the source “TheWareHouse” and select the file “repository.thewarehouse-xx.x.xx.zip”
  12. Wait until the notification appears that the repository was installed successfully

Install The Promise Kodi Addon

  1. In your addon browser select “Install from repository”
  2. Select the installed “The WareHouse Repository”
  3. Open the category “Video addons”
  4. Select The Promise and click on “Install” on the bottom right
  5. Confirm the installation of the dependencies by selecting “OK”
  6. Wait until the notification appears that the Kodi addon was installed successfully
  7. Return to the main menu and the Kodi addon will be accessible from there

Is there a problem with the Promise because in the movie section i click on a movie and it only brings up 3 to 4 scrapers 2 of them Racaty.io that dont work it is the same with all the movies in any year, it also happens with the 9 lives, moria and Highlander is there a problem with there scrapers or resovlers this only started a week ago im using kodi 20.1 with a diggz build , all work fine before, hope you guys can help.

    • I still haven’t gotten a response. Are you having the same issue? movies work, but tv shows recent episodes are not loading on The Promise, The Crew, and NightWing… I get the much older episodes.

  5. is anyone having issues with the promise, the crew, and nightwing all not finding any sources for recently aired TV shows? the results found are episodes from 2 weeks ago… was working perfectly fine in March…
    please help!

    • Yes me too, The Crew and The Promise both addons are not showing up the latest episodes links. Already been passed two weeks still no fixed

      • Yes, ? Sometimes the scraper will actually find a stream but when it goes to play it says no stream available. I recently upgraded to Kodi 20.1, I’m wondering if this has something to do with it.

    • The same the crew isn’t. the promise you have to scroll to the bottom of the list links and click. You may have to try several and it only is working for certain shows

  8. Began watching show called Infiniti on Kodi using The Promise. First two episodes worked fine. All remaining episodes (3 through 6) play episode 2. I realize this is not an issue with The Promise but with the sources. However, I’d like to finish the show. Anyone know where this (I believe French) show is available and working correctly? Thanks in advance and best regards.

  17. Using Kodi 19.3 on an Android box, the resource nominated will not connect. No zip file is visible. Installation is not possible and there is no way i know to upgrade to 19.4 until Google bestirs itself. Any advice please?

  18. Tried this again and I can now see The Promise but it fails to install as it’s not compatible with Kodi 19.4. Which version of Kodi should I be using?

  19. You need to install from zip first on the loonaticsasylum file
    Then once that’s installed you can add the Promise I got it working
